pls tell me if there is any evidence of successful creative problem solving involved in the process of the creation of the computer mouse we use (input device)What are the obstacles overcome and lessons learnt in the process of creating the mouse?
The mouse was conceived by Apple/IBM, I believe, when the desire for an HID (human interface device) arose; the screen was essentially black with green text, alike an MS DOS prompt; the mouse was available on Windows 3.1 from a floppy driver installation disk (heh, thankfully, it's a 3 1/2'; rather than 5 1/4';); the mouse added to efficiency/efficacy because the user could complete tasks in a much faster manner with the introduction of the GUI for OS's. I know not of what technology is linked to the introduction of the mouse, however. Hope this info helps.
