How do I show Recycle Bin on my desktop, aside from creating a shortcut icon to it? Accidentally deleted it...?

How can I put back the genuine icon on there, not the shortcut? Thanks!!!How do I show Recycle Bin on my desktop, aside from creating a shortcut icon to it? Accidentally deleted it...?
If you are running Windows Vista (I can't remember if the same applies for previous versions of the Windows OS's), simply right click on your desktop and click the properties option. This should open the control panel window, and in the left-hand pane will be a link saying 'Change Desktop Icons'. From here you can select which icons to display on your desktop e.g. My Computer, Recycle Bin etc.How do I show Recycle Bin on my desktop, aside from creating a shortcut icon to it? go to control panel

click appearance and personalization

click personalization

click change desktop icons on the side

put a check next to recycling bin

That's what the Discover Tab, above, is for.
just go to your trash bin and right click and choose restore
if you delete a file by accident use Iolo's Search %26amp; recover from iolo.com
