Is the possibility of creating your own major available in any college?

I'm going to Ithaca College and I want to major in romance Languages, the major is supposed 2 require 2 study 2 languages, and in ithaca they already have the French and Spanish Majors, and also Italian studies. I want to avoid transfering if i can. So you think i could create/ask for that major there?Is the possibility of creating your own major available in any college?

you could, the chances are not that great but it is possible especially if you know other people who would like to change also. i would schedule an appointment with the dean or highest undergrad official and tell them about it. make sure you know exactly what your major is and why is it beneficial to the college. good luck...its definitely been done.
